At a moment when most e-commerce companies were still watching ChatGPT, Tokopedia wanted to ship. The assistant had to feel genuinely useful to a shopper while staying safe, on-brand, and constrained around the catalog at scale.
Built on GPT via Azure with instruction tuning targeted at safe and inspirational responses. Tuned for relevance to the shopper's intent, constrained around catalog reality, and integrated into Tokopedia's shopping flows.
Sole author. Shipped as one of Tokopedia's earliest generative-AI products.
